Copied content removal means pages that took your texts, photos or product descriptions without permission disappear from Google, or from the site where they were published. Scraper sites and competing stores sometimes outrank the original, especially when your site is slower or newer. I gather the evidence and file the requests the legitimate way. From €190.

Why copied content hurts you?
Google tries to show the original, but it doesn’t always get it right. If the copy sits on a stronger domain or Google finds it first, the copy can rank and you disappear. This is what I see most often:
Copy above the original
The copied article ranks higher than yours. Traffic and AI mentions go to someone else.
A competitor’s product descriptions
Another store took your descriptions and photos. Customers can’t tell which is the original, and you paid the copywriter.
Scraper with ads
An automated site copies every new article within an hour and makes money from ads on it.
Copy with your links
The copied text contains your internal links, so dozens of low-quality links now point to you from a dubious site.
Nobody does anything
The owner sees the copy but doesn’t know whom to write to or how to word the request so someone acts on it.
Threats instead of a process
An angry email without evidence gets ignored. Without dates and links, a request carries no weight.
What others get wrong: they file removal requests for content that isn’t theirs, or for a quote or review that’s perfectly legal. A false copyright claim has legal consequences, and Google publishes it. The right way is to have evidence and only request what’s genuinely yours.
What I do about copied content
Finding copies
I search for who’s copying your texts, product descriptions or photos, and which copies are in Google.
Proof of origin
Publication date, web archive, Search Console, file metadata. I document that the original is yours.
Notice to the site owner
A factual email to the site owner with an exact list of pages and a deadline for removal.
Report to the host
If the owner doesn’t respond, I find the copying site’s host and send an infringement report.
Google request
The copyright removal form. The copy disappears from search results even if it stays on the site.
Lumen and disclosure
I let you know that a copy of the request is published in the Lumen database, so I write it factually and precisely.
Protecting the original
I check canonical tags (in Slovak), RSS and indexing speed so Google always finds your site first.
Checking the result
I verify the copies are gone, and for the 5-domain package I check again after 30 days.
The videos are in Slovak; YouTube can show automatic English subtitles.
Copied content removal pricing
| Package | Who it’s for | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 1 domain | One domain is copying your content. Evidence, notice to the owner, report to the host and a Google request. Most popular. | €190 |
| Up to 5 domains | Several sites copying at once, or a scraper with multiple domains. Everything for up to 5 domains, a 30-day follow-up and protection for the original. | €490 |
Prices are final; we are not VAT registered. I only file removals for content that belongs to you or that you hold the rights to. This is not a legal service; if the site owner disputes it or claims damages, I’ll recommend a lawyer.
How it works
Requests go from the mildest first. Site owner first, then the host, finally Google. I need links to your originals and Search Console access.
1
Evidence (days 1 to 2). I find the copies, document the dates and prepare an original ↔ copy page list.
2
Requests (days 3 to 5). Notice to the owner and host, and a Google removal request for copies that appear in search results.
3
Follow-up (within 30 days). I track responses, supply anything Google or the host asks for, and send you the result.
What you get on top
Free check of 3 pages
Send 3 links and within one business day I’ll tell you whether and where they’ve been copied.
Notice template
A factual email template you can send yourself next time.
Protecting the original
Recommendations for making it clear to Google that the original is yours, so it doesn’t happen again.

Who does it
RNDr. Milan Fraňo, PhD., HEAD of SEO at WooAcademy. Other sites regularly copy WooAcademy’s and clients’ articles and descriptions, so this process is tested in practice. I only file requests for content that genuinely belongs to the client, and I keep them factual because Google publishes them.

Frequently asked questions about copied content removal
What is a DMCA request?
The DMCA is a US copyright law. Under it, Google accepts requests from anywhere in the world to remove content that infringes copyright. In the EU a similar process works under national copyright law and the Digital Services Act.
How much does copied content removal cost?
One copying domain €190, up to 5 domains €490. Prices are final; we are not VAT registered.
Will the copy disappear from the internet too?
Google removes the copy from its results. Only the site owner or host can delete it from the site, which is why I contact them too. That’s often enough, but it isn’t guaranteed.
Can I report a competitor with similar text?
Only if they genuinely took your text or photos. A similar topic or similar wording isn’t infringement. False claims have legal consequences, and Google publishes them in the Lumen database.
Who will see my request?
Google sends a copy of requests to the public Lumen database. It includes your name or company and the page links. Personal contact details aren’t published.
Is copied content duplicate content I’ll be penalized for?
No, Google doesn’t penalize you because someone copied you. The problem is when it treats the copy as the original. Fast indexing and correct canonical tags help with that.
Is this a legal service?
No. I prepare the evidence and the standard requests a content owner can file. For a dispute or damages, you need a lawyer.
